Gastroenterology Associates of Brooklyn participated in the Colon Cancer Awareness Walk
Colon cancer is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers worldwide. According to the World Cancer Research Fund, there were an estimated 1.9 million new cases of colorectal cancer (which includes both colon and rectal cancer) in 2020.
March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. To create awareness for colon cancer and the value of colon cancer screenings, Gastroenterology Associates of Brooklyn participated in the Colon Cancer Awareness Walk.
